We return to this hotel every year as we have family in the area. It is a great hotel - good value for money. It's location is wonderful - up on the cliffs with one of the best beaches just across the road.

The beach is called Botany Bay, and was featured in The Times travel magazine a few months ago as one of the best 12 beaches in the country!

Hotel rooms are nicely furnished with excellent bathrooms.

Staff have always been friendly. Food in bar is good pub grub standard.

Good range of beers and wines and great atmosphere as it is popular with the locals.

Lovely coastal walks and kids will love the rock pools at low tide. A car is essential as hotel is about 10 minutes from Broadstairs. All in all an excellent hotel.

We stayed at The Fayreness Hotel as a last minute weekend getaway. This Hotel was recommended to us by friends that had stayed here for a Wedding earlier on in the year. The Hotel is right on the cliff with brilliant views of the sea and coastline. We were able to get to the beach by just walking over the road, the beach was very clean and the walk round to Broadstairs was lovely, just make sure to check the tide times!

The Reception staff were very welcoming on arrival and were fast responding when we asked for more towels. We checked in late and the Night Porter was very good, we were also able to make use of the Hotel Bar which is open 24 hours - always a bonus!

All in all we had a fab getaway and being so close to London we would definitely come back here again but hopefully for longer next time!
